We purchased a Kenmore Elite 5 years ago. The LG compressor failed. Sears says there is no service person in our area. The store says it is not their problem but LG. Usually when we are outside of a service area (we live in a rural community), the company will authorize a local service person to diagnose the issue. Sears will not do this. The store won't help. All we want is our compressor repaired. Can we get the new LG compressor under the warranty from LG directly? Or can LG send out a service person to diagnose it so we can get the warranty part (we will pay labor). Or can we bring our refrigerator to a LG repair shop? Or, do you have any suggestions. We actually love our refrigerator, when it works. When the compressor works it works well. We\hen it fails it fails bad. Please help us find a solution.
