LG GX 3.1 Sound Bar issues..
- I have a LG GX 55" TV that my family loves, just upgraded to the matching LG GX 3.1 Sound Bar. Pretty disappointed we can't access sound sync or any of the LG Sound Mode Settings.
- I'm connected via HDMI eARC and even that connection seems to have issue. When I power up the TV it's 50/50 if the TV and sound bar will make that audio connections. Sometimes it'll take between 3-5 tries before everything works. Is there anything I can do on my end to try to correct this?
- There's a small digital screen in the center of the sound bar that just shows the chosen input while in use. Problem is that screen never turns off. Is there a way to change this via remote or other settings? Is this something that can be addressed via an update down the line?

Have you tried using just the ARC versus eARC to see if the problem continues? Also, how old is the HDMI cable being used?
appreciate the tip Jamal, the back of the soundbar has just a reg HDMI in, eARC out and optical out. The HDMI being used is brand new and the one that LG provided with the soundbar. I may look into getting a better quality one but I've tried 2 so far with the same results.
ARC connection is no longer 50/50 working, it just flat out doesn't work anymore. Beyond disappointing.
Really disappointed in LG's customer service with this. Can't believe the lack of interest in even trying to correct this via phone, chat, email, and even the message board.
