LG CX Audio Dropouts over ARC/e-ARC
I'm experiencing issues with sound dropping out over my ARC/E-ARC connection, either a total loss of sound or in some instances only bass is transmitted. This is happening from multiple input sources (Chromecast with Google TV, Xbox Series X, Cox Cable Box, PS4) and also with different soundbars (one of which is an LG SN10YG). I have also tried multiple cables (Monoprice, Zeskit, Cable Matters, Xbox Series X cable). I've tried multiple setting for inputs (bitstream, PCM) and output (Auto, pass through, PCM) and none of these things have resolved the issue.
With my old soundbar sometimes disabling e-ARC/ARC or changing the audio settings would get sound to return. If that didn't work unplugging and plugging in the HDMI cable would restore it. With the SN10YG just using google assistant will get the audio to return.
Is this an issue others are experiencing or is their something wrong with my TV ARC/E-ARC connection?
