I'm in the Windows/Xbox insider program a Level Preview Alpha. Preview Alpha is the cutting edge, and users in this group receive access to new features and fixes as soon as possible at the expense of potential bugs. The Xbox one X Update Preview Program has fixed the issues with 2017 LG OLED TVs getting no sound when enabling Atmos settings on the TV, including various fixes solving enabling Dolby Atoms for home Theater, error codes in settings, mitigates no-audio issues with ERA games, and makes Blu-Ray passthrough work with all known devices. This is Patch 1711 short name, the full OS version is 10.0.16299.4038(rs3_release_xbox_dev_1711.171115-1914) this will be different when released to the public. I have also been able to confirm this during my testing. I've finally been able to watch Ghost in the Shell and Kong Skull Island version 4k Ultra HD HDR/Blu-Ray Atmos based disks. And Play Rise of the Tomb Raider in Dolby Atmos. No release date has been given out, I will update this post when I get more information. This also lets you use Dolby Atmos enabled apps and video for LG OLED web browser and Windows 10 Edge Browser on the X Box one X.
The following Dolby Atmos links work with the LG OLED web browser and Xbox one X Edge Browser.
