Advice for mounting 77" models on a steeply sloped mount
Most wall mount brackets allow for 10 to 15 degrees of tilt, and the structural integrity of the TVs accommodates this. My mounting location requires closer to 40 degrees of tilt. In this configuration, there is significantly higher potential for the right and left sides of the panel to deflect due to gravity -- bowing the panel into a concave shape.
Does anyone have experience mounting a 77" or larger model at these steeper mount angles, and if so, did you experience any panel deflection. I've not found much information about online. Thank you!
