I bought a 24 INCH IPS Monitor 24MP59HT - P - I couldn't set the resolution after hooking it up to the 1920 x 1080 monitor - I started getting boot prompts stating that my resolution was set to 1280 x 1024 and it should be set to the 1920 x 1080 setting. I don't own a Dvd player so I had no way to install the drivers from the dvd. So I went to the LG site and installed the drivers. [Windows] On Screen Control - version 2.82 -and - 24MP59HT Win10 RS3 Driver - The graphics card and resolution was then currently set to the 1920 X 1080 and both my system and graphics card then recognized the new resolution setting. Then the On Screen Control started indicating the monitor wasn't connected and I kept getting the boot prompt about my resolution being set to 1280 and that it should be set to 1920. I contacted LG and they said not to download the drivers and to let window updates - update those drivers. Microsoft ( from Chat wanted to re install the drivers and repair the LG driver problem that was currently occurring because of their drivers ! I'd like to keep the monitor but the resolution is poor and the images are dark and red and my graphics really bleed red because of the resolution problem or driver problem I'm guessing. My System - My Monitor - Anybody Have an idea what's up - ????????? All solutions on line indicate to update the drivers on the monitor and graphic card ---
. My graphics drivers were already updated. I rolled back the driver and uninstalled the On Screen Control. I'm still getting the boot prompt to change the resolution but it is already and remains set to the 1920 X 1080 setting.
