Annoying message

i am getting an annoying message stating that an unknown device is disconnected.  It pops up a lot.

i am getting an annoying message stating that an unknown device is disconnected.  It pops up a lot.  I have tried everything, such as disconnecting everything except my cable box. 
What can I do?

    Hello jholmeslcsw,

    Let's try hard reset.
    Make sure the tv is ON, Do a hard reset.
    1. Turn it off, and unplug it from the power outlet.
    2. While the unit is turned off, look for the power button on the unit itself, press and hold it for about 15 seconds. 
    3. Unplug all devices connected at the back of the unit. Let the TV rest for about 1 minute, then turn on again

    Sorry to hear the hard reset didn't help.
    Then would you like to try a factory reset?
    'Home' button from the remote -> settings ->general ->reset to initial settings

    If it doesn't help, you may need to request a repair.

    Tried that too.  Factory reset did not work
