We recently acquired a home with a LW1216HR unit in our "Four Seasons" room.  While heating, a couple of things are happening that don't seem to be "normal".  The unit cycles frequently (approximately once per every minute or two).  It seems to cycle in the proper sequence... fan on, heat unit kicks on, heat kicks off, fan runs then turns off, but seems to cycle too frequently.  Is this normal?

Secondly, the fan has a clicking noise (like the fan blade is rubbing on a piece of plastic), on the higher speed setting.  This does not happen on the slow speed setting.  Any suggestion on where to start looking?

Thank you in advance for any guidance you might offer.

For the clicking noise, does the fan blow out drops of water while making the sound? I hope its not spitting out water and the noise you hear is the forceful splash of the water against the fan blade.

I think the unit's cycle is normal, you may try other settings too buch ensure you check the owners manual for some information. These models are very advanced with more features than contemporary ac units.
