There must be a known issue with the LG refrigerators. We purchased ours in Dec 2018, and it decided to go out on us this week; suspect it is the compressor. We called LG 2 days ago and finally got a return call from the repair company stating they can’t get to us until June 1st. LG only has 1 company in the entire area of Phoenix that does the repairs. How insane is that!
So now, all of the freezer and fridge food we purchased to hold us off during this stay at home crisis is spoiling and thawing - into the garbage it goes.
LG’s solution is to give us a $200 allowance to buy a mini fridge until the repair can be made. What’s up with that? That won’t cover the dollar amount for the food we have in the fridge/freezer and the mini fridge certainly won’t be able to store all that we have in the fridge/freezer.
Anyone else dealing with this same issue?
Is there a recall on LGs? Is there a class action lawsuit? I will certainly be submitting for a recall on this.

Purchased my LG French Door refrigerator Model LFXS30766S In July 2016. Last week it stopped cooling. Had a local repairman come out today and told us the condenser is "stuck in low" and needs to be replaced by an LG technician because no one else can work on these. How do I get this repair done - I am almost a week into no fridge and this is not an appliance you can just do without.

Refrigerator stopped cooling during the pandemic. Called LG and they said this would be covered under warranty. Part would be ordered and sent in 2 days to technician. That was over a week ago. Called LG today and they said they were escalating. LG would be calling me. Still waiting on that call.
Are reimbursements still occurring for work already repaired depending on the scenario? I was in communication with Jamal in Sept 19 and gave a late response in Nov 19, but never heard back.
My less than 2 year old LG Refrigerator has stopped cooling.

I'm extremely frustrated with LG. Purchased our fridge on 12/2/18 and 3 days ago it stopped cooling! Lost all our food during a pandemic! Just great! So now my not even 1 and half year old fridge is worthless! No repair company will even come and work on it because they say LG is the hardest to work on and if they have to deal with warranties with LG they never get paid. But what's the worst part is I can't even get LG to respond about this issue!!!!! Its not even 1 1/2 years old! come on a refrigerator should last a lot longer then that! If LG knows there are issues with some parts (linear compressor) then they should be doing all they can to help! I guess I'm out at least $900-1200 more to replace this piece of junk LG! And I will never own another LG again. I will be sure to let everyone else know never to buy their brand either!
The fourth repair person has been out to take a look at our fridge after it has stopped cooling again. This has been ongoing since Nov 2019. It has now been deemed unrepairable, the repair person confirmed this with LG. What are LG's policies around repair or reimbursement for an appliance that is only 3.5 years old and is totally dead?
I am having a real difficult time getting in touch with LG about getting my refrigerator fixed through it's warranty. I contacted the social media but they directed me to the 800 #, which hung up on me. Then I filed an online repair which did not allow me to put in my model #.Please advise to the most productive and quickest way to contact LG concerning getting my refrigerator fixed under it's warranty.
