I have an LG 30cuft LFXS30726S French door refrigerator that I bought in 5/2017. The linear compressor was replaced in 9/2019. Now that one just failed after 2 months and is to be replaced here again in 11/2019.
When my tech replaced the 9/2019 compressor he seemed to be replacing it with the same version/manufacturer and didn't think much about the ongoing issue.
Has LG done something to replace these linear compressors with a new different manufacturer and how well are they performing?
In talking with the customer service rep about my current problem he told me after the 3rd one fails that the fridge would be replaced by LG. I'm expecting that to happen after seeing all these posts. Is this true and what are the detailed options at that time?
