Problem with the wifi in a LG SMART TV
(I can’t turn on my wifi)
First. Go to regular antenna tv using your input key in the top right hand corner. Select LIVE TV and put 1105 channel ones you get to 1105 channel is gonna said no signal (it’s all good) Next, press and hold down the settings button( not the home button that looks like a house is the one under Netflix or volume) once the menu appears keep holding it down, it will disappear again and the channel info will show, immediately press 1105 again and press enter. It'll bring up the IP menu. Select public display settings (select to ON) and Scroll down to factory reset. ( this is a different factory reset then going through the main settings) it rolls back the firmware for your t.v.. Let it reset and follow the options. Your Wi-Fi service will be restored as well as your smartview, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi direct. 100% foolproof. This a developer reset.

I must say I am utterly disgusted with LG at this point. Why have so many customers experienced issues with their TVs after a recent LG software update? Could an LG Moderator give a much requested update on the situation?
