I have tried your 1-5 steps but it seems to work for about 2 minutes, then goes back to the same old connection/wifi problems again but thanks for sharing anyway.
A friend of mine spoke to an LG advisor and was told that we are very much in the MINORITY with this issue compared with how many hundreds of non-problematic TV's LG do sell which is a totally disgusting attitude to have and it seems that they are completely not bothered about this and that explains why JamalOfLG (our useless so-called moderator) has not come back to us, a total disregard of customer service.
Therefore, I decided to ring their customer service team, but was more or less fobbed off with the same crap and that it was definitely not a software issue as they say NOBODY has complained about it?? Unbelieveable!!!
I said there are so many customers out there on the forum(s) all saying the same thing regarding wifi/connection issues and for many of us, the tv's all went wrong at roughly the same time which was so extremely strange and to me indicates something that LG has done...but alas they strongly disagree to this theory and say again that nobody has complained otherwise they would look into it.
May I request a massive favour from everyone please...Lets get LG to pull their fingers out of their earholes!!
Can UK customers' contact the LG customer service team on 0344 847 5454 and advise them of all your wifi and/or connectivity problems, that way we can get them to look into this urgently. I spoke to a man called Chris who is the team leader so the more we bombard him with this, the more we can get some movement or even a resolution.
I am so extremely angry about this whole sorry affair but if we don't do anything....they just won't give a sh*t and there is no way I am spending another £150 -£200 on LG technician visits or upgraded wifi modules.
Surprisingly, a full system reset and restart worked for me last night as the system re-boot appeared to do a fresh search for Wireless networks when initiating and setting up.
Touch-wood this connection stays!
I am thoroughly cheesed off and disgusted with this whole issue of WI-FI not connecting to my LG UH620v WebOS TV. (Software version 05.30.25)
I have reset the TV, Router, Quick Start+ on/off, check cables etc on numerous occasions and this STILL DOES NOT resolve a single thing and I frankly wonder if I have made the correct decision buying an LG television especially after learning about other members' problems with the support team.
I have read all the comments on this forum and I deeply feel everyone's pain especially as everything was working perfectly well.....until the last 2-3 weeks when all of a sudden, connecting the TV to Wi-Fi and all of its smart features/apps have failed spectacularly.
Now, I want to know what our Moderator Jamal has found out as its been a little while since a solution was forthcoming and I must say if I received this many complaints about the same thing, that would seriously concern me from a company point of view.
So can an expert from LG resolve this issue IMMEDIATELY as I'm sure people have paid out hundreds possibly thousands of pounds for smart TV's which are meant to be just that and not a burden.
