I have a G5 and the camera is set to 1920 X 1080. I took a picture and when I looked at it on my computer, it did not look great and I noticed the info from the picture said the resolution was 608 X 1080 and the DPI was 96. What did I do wrong?

I mixed things up in my original question. My photo size is 16:9 5312 X 2988 and my video is FHD 16:9 1920 X 1080

rocksolid, can you clarify the question, I'm unsure what's being asked.

So I have an LG G5. I have the phone setting for the camera set to take pictures at a resolution of 5312 X 2988. When I take a picture and look at it on my computer it does not look very sharp and the info on the picture says it's only 608 X 1080 and the DPI was 96. My question is why does the photo not have a higher resolution like it should. I would think if I took at picture at 5312 X 2988 then that is what I would see when I look at the picture on my computer. What am I doing wrong?
