GP30NB30 Super Multi Portable DVD Rewriter - Debian 9

Hello: Trying to use my GP30NB30 with Debian 9. The drive shows up in dmesg and in lsusb; but, I can't figure out how to make the drive actually useable.

Trying to use my GP30NB30 with Debian 9.

The drive shows up in dmesg and in lsusb; but, I can't figure out how to make the drive actually useable.  

Result of dmesg:

Any ideas?
