This is being written for the sole purpose of getting some kind of proper attention from LG about our refrigerator issue.  The short story is that its been 2 months since we first contacted LG about our faulty refrigerator and during that time, we've had 5 service appointments (the last of which was simply to take temperature readings and no action repair) which are always 1-2 weeks of waiting in between each appointment, at least 10 hours of phone time with LG's inferior and incompetant customer service call center in the Philippines in combination with 5+ hours of being placed on hold to get in touch with LG's US customer service call centers.  During all of the repairs, appointments and calls, we NEVER hear anything from LG.  If we don't actively manage our repair issue, LG will never proactively contact us to let us know what is going on.  Besides the utter lack of communication, LG has absolutely zero transparency about how the process will move forward.  We are always learning about new steps or new requirements or how LG's promise (yes, their Executive Team in the US actually did say they will replace our fridge) was actually just a tactic to get us off the phone so they could submit the replacement request to some ambiguous separate department which will judge if we are worthy of getting a replacement.  After 1 week of waiting on this mysterious committee, we find out our request was denied and that we have to suffer through more repair appointments.

LG, you need to keep in mind that every appointment means us taking off from work, rearranging plans for our children, and all of this is happening while we don't have a fridge.  We have to deal with increased food and transport costs to go out and eat or make due with a tiny temporary fridge that sits so conveniently in the middle of our kitchen floor!!!!!  You people have absolutely no concept of customer service or empathy or common sense!  PLEASE HELP US!  THIS HAS GONE ON WAY TOO LONG AND YOU DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP AND SEEMINGLY TRY TO ENRAGE AND FRUSTRATE US MORE!
