On my previous dryer, a Whirlpool Cabrio, you could see the remaining time on the display change during the cycle as the moisture sensor detected the dryness level and compensated accordingly, and the cycles always ended at just the right time. But this DLEX3900 seems to run for exactly the amount of time initially shown on the display every time. I've never seen the remaining time on the display vary during the cycle due to the "sensor" doing its job, and the cycles don't seem to end when the clothes are actually dry.
Can someone explain how (or if) the "sensor" is supposed to behave on this machine? Thanks.
