I have an LG-AS695 lifeline phone. Android 2.3.6 It connects to my PC by USB and charges but does not display the phone's folders on my PC. I'm running windows 10. I think lifeline has the WiFi blocked somehow because it never would connect that way. This problem started after a Windows upgrade about a month ago. I want the folders to display on my PC because that's how I add music to it. I tried updating the LG driver but that didn't help. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you

1). Are you sure this is a data + charge cable? Some are not.

2). Try another USB port and see if recognized.

    3). If not, uninstall driver.
    Reboot PC
    Install driver again
Connect PC to the phone. Is it seen now?

4). If you cannot get it working, let's try FTP over WiFi.
Google SwiFTP and download the file onto phone.
    Sideload it.
    Download FileZilla onto your PC
Start SwiFTP on the phone, then launch FileZilla on the PC. Try dragging and dropping files that way.
