Sound over ARC suddenly stopped working on my LG OLED 55 CX (OLED55CXPSA)
Hi guys! I'm in desperate need of help regarding this issue, I'd really appreciate any help/advice you could send my way
Configuration:
- Tv: OLED55CXPSA (latest firmware)
- AVR: Yamaha RX-A860
- 8k Certified HDMI cables
Problem:
After unplugging my tv from the wall and plugging it back in my AVR stopped receiving the sound signal from the tv through ARC
Things I did to try to fix it:
- Unplugged the TV and wait for hours
- Factory reset
- Activate Simplink
- Tried using a different OLED tv to test if the problem was the AVR but It worked ok with ARC
- Unplugging the tv, unplugging all the HDMI devices, plugging it back in with just the ARC hdmi
- Reset AV settings (pressing mute 3 times)
- Changing the sound settings on the TV
- Tried different HDMI cables
Well, I think that's all! Again I'd like to thank you in advance for any help you could provide!

unfortunately I have reported a similar problem and would like to know if I received a device with a defective HDMI port...
