B9 OLED will not passthrough DTS-HD Master Audio via eARC
I recently purchased an B9 65” inch beauty and am really happy with it. Now I am trying to figure out how to best configure it with existing equipment: PS4 slim and older Yamaha receiver (HTR-3067) - capable of decoding DTS HD Master Audio.
Problem: when playing a standard blu ray disk I connect PS4 to B9 and then route the audio via eARC to receiver I cannot get DTS HD Master Audio. However, when I connect the PS4 to audio receiver directly I am able to get DTS HD Master Audio signal light up in the receiver. Current eARC bit rate is a lousy 1536kbps on what appears to be a lossy DTS downmix.
What could i be doing wrong?
HDMI ARC is set to pass through and the eARC is set to ON. PS4 is set to bitstream DTS so all the settings from the PS4 to the TV appear to be correct. I am using high speed HDMI cables (with ethernet capabilities) for both connections from PS4 to TV and TV to Yamaha receiver.
I think that this is a setting issue or TV issue since again when I connect my PS4 directly to the receiver I am able to get DTS HD Master Audio light up on the receiver.

Never mind all found out my own answer: my receiver does not support eARC and actually most modern budget receivers also do not support it — to my surprise
Guess its time to upgrade my sounds equipment
