We purchased our LG French Door Refrigerator 5/3/16.  Upon returning from a trip 5/5/18 we had water on the floor, a freezer drawer that had thawed contents  and a refrigerator at 50 degrees. We paid more to purchase locally so service would never be an issue.  When calling we found that our local rep was no longer an LG approved repairman because of issues with terms of service with LG.  We spent a day on the phone to get a service person to come to repair the unit, this is Monday.....and they will be out on Friday.  This is crazy.....from the few posts here, there obviously must be a potential issue with these units if we need service in the first two years.  Of course now only parts are covered.... We'll see how this goes.  More to come.
