Very sad that LG does not care about the consumer. They actually sent a A & E Factory service out on Monday. And installed a new linear compressor that failed seven hours later. Now nobody will get back and respond to me after perhaps 50 phone calls between A&E and LG.
Even worse is that the technician sent out by A&E factory service shut me down for $40 for cleaning inside the compressor area of the refrigerator saying that it was not covered and could be a reason to void the warranty. He could not do it by credit card he said here put the cash in my shirt pocket. I did it only because of the fact that I thought he had fixed The refrigerator. Which I learned five hours later the new installed compressor failed.
since that time I have had several messages on Facebook and Twitter saying please send us your information and we will get back to you nobody ever gets back to you from LG. Here is an example of one of my responses back to them.
“LG Electronics USA I have messaged about 8 times and no response back to me. additionally I have called in the last 48 hours about 10 times and always rehashing but getting no response. They say a follow up will be sent by email for the appointment for A & E services and by text and nothing is sent by LG and or by A & E appliance service. I expected a follow up text message /email as confirmation that this is truly scheduled for this Saturday. A & E said they don't have this on their schedule that only LG can initiate it on the A & E schedule. I assume that nobody will respond to this message from LG as that is what happens when I replay back to your message.“
evidently senior management at LG does not give a crap about consumer satisfaction. Please do not buy their products as they are not worth the aggravation.July 10

Hi Jamal, The above unit was not installed until Spring of 2019, and started failing shortly afterward. The problem is that the control panel often doesn't light up when power is pressed, even though there is power at the electrical hookup terminals. Sometimes it will light up, and then sometimes it will even start, but will invariably fail sometime during the cycle, often with very erratic beeping and flashing of lights. For the first year we were able to power cycle and get it back to life, but now it won't work at . I see that this is a very common problem with your dishwashers and saw on Reddit that LG is kindly offering a replacement panel even out of warranty. I have always been a fan of LG, so I hope this is true and you'll send the part I need. I'm a electrical engineer and comfortable installing myself.

Hey! I am having a similar tint issue as everyone else seems to be having, and you have gotten great reviews as a representative. Any way to get a repair? My whole screen is blue and I've tried the factory reset and different HDMI ports, and it is definitely a problem with the TV.June 26

Jamal - it is worse than I first thought. I pulled up an orange test screen and it appears many of the areas are dead and there is a major swath down the middle. Can you please help??

I have the dreaded green spot forming on my OLED65B6P. I bought the TV in March of 2017 so it is out of warranty, but it seems the screen should last longer than this. I have seen from the posts that you have solved this problem for many owners. Could you please let me know what needs to be done to rectify the situation? I have gone through all of the suggested troubleshooting to no avail. Pictures are below.

My TV has a large green spot in the center of the screen. After reading on Google it appears to be a product defect on the 2017 LG OLED TVs caused by excess heat generated from the power supply. Can you please replace the defective product or schedule a repair. I know the product is out of warranty, but this appears to be a known product defect and not a warranty issue. model no. LSC27937ST manufactured in 2013 is not cooling the fridge or freezer. the compressor and the fan on the back bottom work fine. the coils were dirty and so I cleaned them. the compressor is warm. one of the thin copper pipes is cold and the other one is warm. I performed the check on the system with the instructions listed inside the panel with the controls located on the top of the fridge. everything checked out okay and there were no error codes. the lights in the freezer, fridge and front control panel with temperature readings are all on and working. the fans are also running in both the fridge and freezer. I think I've watched and read just about every video and article made for troubleshooting my unit, but I still can't get it to reach the temperatures that I have set on the panel on the from of the machine. the only thing I can think of is that it needs freon or a new water filter (we don't have an ice maker installed). CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME? 🙏May 28
